SOLD - Inspired by a recent trip to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, I had never been an Elvis fan but grew up with and always enjoyed the music. The Elvis exhibit ended up being the highlight on the trip. It made me realize there is a little bit of Elvis in all of us.
"The Elvis in Me" A portrait of two women of dancing to the music. Both wearing elegant, voluminous dresses frequently found in my work invoking a fashion illustration's elegance and simplicity. The background is a textured field with predominantly pink hues, and on the top portion there are the words "ELVIS IS IN ME". The overall composition conveys a playful and romantic atmosphere, celebrating themes of fashion, femininity, and love with a modern, abstract expression.
