"Winter Solstice" a painting of what I consider our most dramatic season in Maine. The sun sinks and furious skies from bright hot yellow, pink to deep purples accented only by stars and the moon reflect on the ice and snow.
I imagine the horses I often see up the road from my studio taking a quiet pace back to the barn for a long winters night."
